About Abigail
My name is Abigail, and I’m currently an undergraduate student studying Marine Biology. While I’m passionate about the ocean and marine life, I’ve also discovered a deep love for teaching—especially Bahasa Melayu! I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand and appreciate the beauty of our national language. Teaching Bahasa Melayu allows me to share that passion, and I find great joy in seeing students grow in confidence and improve their skills over time. I believe learning should be fun and encouraging, especially for young students. That’s why I’m here—to guide, support, and inspire you to enjoy learning Bahasa Melayu in a way that’s clear, engaging, and enjoyable! Let’s make learning a great experience together!

My Approach to Tutoring:
My teaching style is student-centered and adaptable. I begin by assessing the student's current level and identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. I use a mix of structured lessons, interactive exercises, and real-life examples to make learning Bahasa Melayu engaging and practical. I emphasize understanding over memorization, especially in grammar and writing. For exam-focused students, I incorporate past paper practices and targeted techniques.
Lesson Duration:
Each lesson typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student's age, focus level, and goals.
Qualifications/Experience:
I’m an undergraduate student in Marine Biology and a former SPM student with an A+ in Bahasa Melayu. I’m passionate about the correct and effective use of the Malay language and committed to helping students gain confidence and fluency.
Who Are My Lessons For:
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students (ages 7–17), especially those preparing for UPSR, PT3, or SPM. I also welcome anyone who wants to improve their everyday Malay communication or writing skills.
