About Amélie
I am a student in teaching French as a Second Language in Laval University (Quebec City). I am truly passionate about teaching, traveling and exchanging with people all around the world. I've been helping immigrants and refugees learning French in my hometown for 10 years. I would be really happy to share my language and a part of my culture with you :)

I like to start each class with a small talk with my student(s) to spot their mistakes. From this small discussion, I correct and I explain their mistakes to them. Every class, I focus on something different (for example. le passé composé, l'accord des adjectifs, les adverbes, les chiffres et plus encore). I am very flexible too, I think that teaching is a lot about being able to adapt your class to your student to maximise learning!

Deadly! Amélie is teaching our 10 year old son for a period of time. She is super fun, always prepared with lots of material. Even when our son is not in the mood, she handles it nicely and can make the lesson interesting. It is definitely a talent. So, it is very obvious that she is good with children and I am sure she would be great with adults as well. I can definitely recommend her without any doubt. Thanks Amélie!
