About Teacher Severine

I am a patient, friendly and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping children learn and grow in confidence. I have a TEFL certificate and experience teaching children online. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to suit each learner's needs and pace.

I enjoy making lessons engaging through colourful visual materials, interactive activities, repetition and positive encouragement. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and practising new skills.

I am passionate about helping children improve their Afrikaans reading, spelling, klanke and language skills. It is rewarding to see learners gain confidence, make progress and feel proud of what they can achieve.

About the lesson

My online Afrikaans lessons are designed to help children improve their reading, spelling, pronunciation, vocabulary and sentence construction. I use colourful learning materials, pictures, repetition and fun activities to make lessons engaging and easy to follow. Each lesson is adapted to the child's age, ability and learning pace. I encourage children to participate, ask questions and practise without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen language skills and help every child enjoy learning Afrikaans in a friendly and supportive environment.
