About Anitalise
Hello! I am a medical student at UCL. After attending a low performing state secondary school, I really thought that my dream to become a doctor wouldn't happen. I often found the classroom distracting and not well suited to my learning style (even though at the time, I wasn't sure what my learning style was). I was keen to develop different approaches to learning, and familiarised myself with the key principles that underpin how we learn. I know that each student has a different learning style, but I also understand each subject has a different learning style. My approach to learning is flexible and adaptable. I managed to achieve the top 2% of grades for my GCSEs in my academic year. I also managed to achieve the IB diploma which enabled me to get into university and obtain my first degree in Biomedical Sciences where I also achieved the top grades. I can go on for ages using personal anecdotes about why I will be the perfect tutor for you. But quite simply how I know I am a great teacher and will be perfect for you, is from the hundreds of positive reviews I have received from many students in your position.

I have over 4 years experience teaching. I have taught a wide range of ages, and I have experience teaching students with special needs, like dyslexia, Autism and ADHD. One of my proudest achievement is taking a student who was failing GCSE Chemistry and managed to equip them with the skills they needed to achieve their final grade A. This was a very proud moment in my career as using my approach of team working with the student I was able to facilitate their learning, making sure they achieved the grades they needed to get onto higher education.
I am attentive and really put *you* at the centre of the lesson. My approach will empower you giving you enough knowledge about the subject to help you decide what you want your next stage in life will be. Our grades don't have to limit our options, and I believe (like many of my other students have) my approach to learning will equip you with the skills you need to decide and achieve what your next stage in life will be.
