About Nadzy Cole

As a credentialed psychology major and Tagalog tutor, I am committed to providing personalized and interactive language instruction that fosters confidence and fluency. With a deep understanding of linguistic theory and pedagogy, I tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers you to achieve your goals.

My teaching philosophy is built on a foundation of respect, empathy, and a passion for language learning. I believe that every student deserves a tutor who listens actively, provides constructive feedback, and adapts to their individual needs. As a result, I take the time to understand your goals, assess your strengths and weaknesses, and develop a customized lesson plan that addresses your specific objectives.

Throughout our lessons, you can expect interactive activities, real-life dialogues, and opportunities for practice and feedback. I am committed to creating a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience that builds your confidence and prepares you for success. My ultimate goal is to empower you with the skills and knowledge you need to communicate effectively in Tagalog, whether for personal or professional purposes.

About the lesson

As a psychology major and Tagalog tutor, I adopt a student-centered and interactive approach to teaching, acknowledging that every individual learns differently. I begin each lesson by reviewing the student's current knowledge and goals, assessing their strengths and weaknesses, and tailoring the lesson accordingly. We start with the basics, covering grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation, before moving on to more complex topics such as sentence structure, idiomatic expressions, and conversational practices. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

I encourage students to take an active role in the learning process through discussions, role-playing, and group activities. My lessons are designed for students of all levels, including college students, working professionals, and individuals interested in learning Tagalog for personal or cultural purposes. A typical lesson plan with me includes a warm-up period of casual conversation, followed by a review of grammar rules, vocabulary building, conversation practice, and a wrap-up with review and feedback on progress.

Throughout the lesson, I provide clear explanations, examples, and feedback to help students understand and apply the language. I also assign homework exercises to reinforce what they've learned and encourage regular practice. My ultimate goal as a Tagalog tutor is to create a personalized and engaging learning experience that helps students achieve their language goals. By combining traditional teaching methods with interactive activities and real-life scenarios, I aim to help students become confident communicators in Tagalog.
