About Hanjin
I am a passionate, patient, and enthusiastic educator who loves helping individuals from all walks of life build their communication skills. My goal as a teacher is to create a warm, encouraging space where students feel entirely comfortable making mistakes while practicing. I hold a professional background in Early Childhood Education from Mount Kenya University, which provides me with a deep, practical understanding of pedagogical methods, patience, and student engagement frameworks. Combining my university studies with my complete fluency in advanced English, I possess the professional knowledge and instructional skills required to help students naturally master conversational vocabulary, correct pronunciation errors, and speak English with absolute confidence.
My lessons are completely interactive, patient, and tailored entirely to the student's pace. I specialize in using engaging teaching methodologies like active inquiry, storytelling, visual aids, and interactive language games to keep lessons fun and memorable. A typical lesson runs for 45 to 60 minutes, focusing on real-world chatting and confidence building. I welcome students of all ages and levels, but my primary focus is supporting young learners, absolute beginners, and intermediate speakers who want to break out of their shells. I provide all learning materials, so you only need to show up ready to learn!
