About Feben

Hello, I'm Feben! I'm a recent high school graduate heading to Northwestern University this fall to study Neuroscience on a pre-med track. I am an experienced violinist with years of high-level training in elite orchestral ensembles, like traditional styled orchestra with wind instruments, advanced chamber ensembles and my own quartet! Music has always been a massive passion of mine, and I am currently heading to Northwestern University to study the intersection of neuroscience and music. I would love helping students build strong technical foundations—like proper bow holds and finger placement—while keeping lessons fun, engaging, and deeply encouraging. Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time or looking to polish a piece for an audition, I am here to help you play with confidence!

About the lesson

For my violin lessons, I've had years and years of orchestra experience and performed in elite high school ensembles, even performing Internationally this spring in South Korea! I know exactly what it takes to build strong foundational habits, read sheet music confidently, and play with a beautiful tone. Practice shouldn't feel like a chore, so I will focus on keeping lessons encouraging and low-stress, helping you learn music you actually love while building elite technique.
