About Kate
Hi! My name is Kate.
How can I help?
I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Educational Psychology at Edge Hill University. Once I have completed University, I aspire to do an additional 3 years Doctorate level, further establishing my career choice of becoming an Educational Psychologist, working with children with Special Educational Needs.
I am determined and can effectively manage numerous tasks on a daily basis, both in a pressuring environment and casual occasions, while maintaining a high quality standard.
I aim to help you progress through your studies with confidence, support and even a bit of enthusiasm. Exams, coursework and work in general can be difficult if you are feeling a little lost.
While successfully progressing through GCSE's and A-levels, with a lot of stress, I aim to support and guide other young students in battling the brain blank of overwhelming exams and coursework.

My individualistic teaching strategies and years of voluntary work will enable me to assist you in your learning and boost your confidence. I am flexible, calm and patient, and I hope that I can help you! I am a visual learner and encourage mind maps and flow charts with colours and images ensure a splash of fun and creativity to learning. However, I am also aware of other learning styles and take a multimodal approach to my teaching/tutoring to ensure the learning is predominantly active and fun!
