About Richard
I am a qualified adult educator with a CTLLS Level 4 teaching qualification and TEFL certification, specialising in helping adults gain confidence with English and everyday technology. I enjoy supporting learners who may feel nervous, out of practice, or unsure about where to start.
My background includes practical technology, communication, and real-world problem solving, which helps me explain things clearly and simply. I believe learning should feel supportive, not stressful, and I adapt lessons to suit each person’s pace and goals.

I specialise in helping adult learners build confidence in spoken English and everyday communication. My lessons are friendly, practical and adapted to your goals — whether you want to speak more naturally in conversation, improve workplace communication, or feel more comfortable using digital technology.
I am TEFL qualified and hold a CTLLS Level 4 teaching qualification, with experience supporting adults who may feel nervous about learning or returning to study. I explain things clearly, step by step, without jargon.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes online and include speaking practice, pronunciation support, and simple tasks to help you progress between sessions. Ideal for international learners, professionals, and adults wanting to improve real-world skills.
I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your goals and see if I’m the right tutor for you.
