As a retired professional with seven years of online ESL teaching experience, I specialize in guiding high school students and adult learners toward language mastery. I am a TESOL-certified teacher based in the Philippines, offering lessons in both English and Tagalog—the two languages I speak fluently in my everyday life. Every lesson is structured to maximize your speaking time while keeping things fun and stress-free:
A Typical 50-Minute Lesson Plan
> 00–05 mins | Warm-Up & Catch-Up: A casual chat in your target language to wake up your brain and review vocabulary from the last session.
> 05–20 mins | The Core Concept: Introduction of today’s topic (e.g., useful idioms, Tagalog sentence structures, or workplace English) using engaging visuals or short texts.
> 20–40 mins | Guided & Free Practice: We play interactive language games, do roleplays, or debate a fun topic to practice the new concept.
> 40–50 mins | Feedback & Wrap-Up: I share a summary of the mistakes we corrected, celebrate your wins, and give you a small, practical challenge for the week.
