About Emma

I hold a Grade 8 qualification from the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM). While my background is deeply rooted in high-level classical and technical training, my true passion lies in helping beginners take their very first steps on the instrument.

Because I understand how overwhelming the guitar can feel at the start, I focus heavily on patience, clear communication, and breaking complex things down into simple, easy-to-digest steps.

Whether you are a parent looking for a structured, encouraging start for your child, or an adult fulfilling a lifelong dream to pick up the guitar, I am here to guide you step-by-step!

About the lesson

Learning the guitar should be exciting, not stressful! I specialize exclusively in teaching absolute beginners of all ages.

My goal is to get you playing songs you actually love from day one, while naturally building the correct foundational techniques.I customize every single lesson to your personal pace and musical interests. There is no rigid pressure here—just a supportive, encouraging environment where you can learn at your own speed.

What we will focus on together:

Tuning your guitar and basic instrument care.

Mastering essential beginner open chords and strumming patterns.

Developing clean, pain-free hand and finger posture.

Reading simple guitar tabs or basic chord charts.

Building the confidence to play along with your favorite tracks.
