About Levi
I am a passionate Saxophone tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, and I have successfully taught around 150 students at all learning levels. I focus on helping students grow confidently over the long term.
My tutoring approach is supportive, patient, and long-term focused. I guide students step by step, ensuring strong fundamentals before moving forward. Lessons include breathing exercises, tone development, finger technique, rhythm practice, and musical understanding.
I provide clear feedback and consistent encouragement, helping students stay motivated during challenging phases. I also teach students how to practice effectively and stay disciplined.
My unique strength is my consistent support throughout the learning journey. My goal is to help students become confident, skilled saxophone players who enjoy music for life.

I follow a student-centred methodology for teaching saxophone, emphasising flexibility, collaboration, and encouragement. Every student has a unique learning style, so I adapt lessons to their pace, preferences, and goals, making sessions effective and enjoyable.
Flexibility ensures lessons evolve with student progress, motivation, and interests, keeping learning engaging and rewarding. Collaboration encourages students to experiment with improvisation, contribute ideas, and participate actively in shaping their lessons, fostering creativity and confidence.
I create a positive and supportive environment where mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities and achievements are celebrated. Lessons cover saxophone techniques, musical expression, improvisation, performance skills, and theory, providing a well-rounded foundation.
Beyond saxophone, I teach ensemble performance, sight-reading, ear training, and music theory. My aim is to help students become expressive, confident, and versatile musicians.
