About Kenneth
I am currently a contracted penetration tester at Elite Operations, LLC. I have been studying cybersecurity since I was 13 and landed my first job as a penetration tester at 20.
I have a working knowledge of security from internal and external networks and web applications. I am confident in my ability to teach anyone how to hack and more importantly, laws and regulations in the field.
Rest assured, If you want accurate and in-depth knowledge of hacking and red teaming, I am a reliable source and will guarantee that my lessons are worth your time.
I am a relatively laid-back guy, so just know that while I have a lot of knowledge to share, we can also chit-chat and joke around a bit as well. I look forward to meeting you!

Ethical hacking is largely a hands-on profession and requires development of muscle-memory at the keyboard. I tailor my collection of learning materials to the person I teach, but most of the teaching will be done with a hands-on approach. I can teach as fast as you want to learn!
Since the majority of students are in different places academically and may also have different interests, there is no one-size-fits-all lesson plan. However, these are the specific topics I can cover depending on skill-level:
*Pre-requisites*
- A laptop or desktop
- Any Linux distribution installed as the main OS or on a bootable flashdrive. I highly recommend ParrotOS, but any Linux distribution is great.
*BEGINNER*
- Linux fundamentals (command line, components of linux, filesystem, package management)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, IP addresses, subnetting, ports, etc)
- Programming and software fundamentals (Python3, C/C++, Bash, HTML, Javascript)
- Linux tools (apt, ping, users/groups, w, fping, arp, traceroute, whois, dig, netstat, netcat, nmap, wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
*INTERMEDIATE*
- Hacker methodology (passive recon, active recon, exploitation, privilege escalation, persistence, pivoting)
- Advanced recon (auxiliary metasploit, searchsploit, google dorking, whatweb, eyewitness, nmap scripting engine, manual investigation etc)
- External Network exploitation (metasploit, smbclient, impacket, ftp, python3, reverse shells, gathering breached creds, malware, etc)
- Internal network exploitation (Active Directory, kerberoasting, LLMNR poisoning, relay attacks, pass-the-hash attacks, crackmapexec, etc)
- Web Application exploitation (OWASP top 10, , sqlmap, XSS reflected/stored, polyglot payloads, sanitization bypass)
*ADDITIONAL TOPICS: Defenses*
- Fundamentals of system adminstration and configuration.
- Security-in-depth and Zero-Trust implementation
- Implementation of encryption for messaging and inter-device communication
- Access Control types and management (Bubblewrap, SELinux, AppArmor)
- Low-level system hardening (Kernel arguments in GRUB, sysctl configs, Kill switches and dead-man switches, CVE mitigations
- High-level system hardening (Firefox configs, IPS/IDS/Firewalls, Cron jobs, PAM management as primary technical controls, AI and facial recognition as secondary controls
- Network hardening (VLANs, Firewalls, Port triggering, Open-Source EDR)
- Basic to Advanced privacy (Tor/I2P, Fingerprinting mitigation, mix-nets, building anonymous and secure infrastructure, OPSEC training)
======================================
I would consider myself especially valuable as a tutor having had more than a year's worth experience as a penetration tester and red team operator. These lessons are purely for those studying cybersecurity in school or as a hobby. This curriculum does not follow any specific standard such as for certifications or work.
