About Ellison
Teaching Piano allows me to inspire students while helping them develop valuable musical skills. With over 12 years of experience teaching college students, I focus on making every lesson enjoyable, productive, and meaningful.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and student-centered. I explain lessons in simple English and use practical demonstrations to help students understand concepts with confidence.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital resources, rhythm development, ear training, keyboard drills, and creative song learning. These techniques make learning more interactive while improving practical skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, and expressive performance. I provide continuous guidance, personalized feedback, and effective practice strategies that help students achieve lasting success.

My teaching methodology combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable and structured so students can learn without pressure.
Students start with posture, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and basic theory. They then continue with scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, articulation, and expressive playing.
I use demonstrations, listening practice, and step-by-step guidance. Students receive regular feedback for improvement.
Students also explore different genres and develop creativity through improvisation.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance preparation.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning music.
