About Joney
I am a passionate Piano tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals achieve their musical goals. I believe that every student has the ability to learn Piano with the right guidance, patience, and regular practice.
My teaching approach is centered on personalized learning. I take time to understand each student's experience, interests, and objectives before creating a lesson plan that suits them. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience, I ensure that every lesson is easy to understand, enjoyable, and productive.
My lessons include piano techniques, finger exercises, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also help students develop proper posture, hand coordination, and effective practice routines that improve learning.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music reading, and basic music theory. These additional subjects help students become well-rounded musicians with stronger musical understanding.
I aim to create a friendly and encouraging classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving with confidence. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing students enjoy music while reaching their personal goals.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and continuous improvement. I believe every student deserves lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and designed around their personal goals. My classes create a supportive environment where students enjoy learning while building lasting musical skills.
Students begin by learning posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. After mastering these fundamentals, they move to scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, expressive performance, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I teach using practical demonstrations, listening activities, guided practice, and regular revision. Students are encouraged to understand every concept, ask questions freely, and develop consistent practice habits. Personalized feedback ensures steady improvement.
Students experience different musical styles and strengthen creativity through improvisation, accompaniment, and expressive playing. These activities improve confidence, versatility, and overall musicianship.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm training, music theory, sight reading, performance preparation, music appreciation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects help students gain a complete understanding of music.
My goal is to inspire students to become confident, expressive, and lifelong learners who enjoy playing the piano and sharing their love of music with others.
