About Zen
I am a professional Piano tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience, helping school students, college students, and working professionals develop their musical skills with confidence. I believe that learning Piano should be enjoyable, inspiring, and suited to each student's goals.
My teaching approach is based on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction. Every student has a different learning style, so I carefully design lessons that match their pace, interests, and abilities. Whether you are learning for fun, preparing for exams, or improving your performance skills, I provide step-by-step guidance throughout your journey.
My lessons include piano techniques, finger exercises, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also teach proper posture, hand coordination, and effective practice methods that help students improve steadily.
Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard skills, music reading, and foundational music theory. These additional subjects help students become confident musicians with a deeper understanding of music.
I am passionate about creating a friendly and motivating learning environment where students enjoy every lesson. My goal is to help every learner build confidence, express creativity, and develop a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and meaningful learning. I believe students perform their best when lessons are interactive, motivating, and adapted to their individual strengths. My classes encourage confidence, discipline, and continuous musical growth.
Students start with the fundamentals of posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. These skills prepare them for learning scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, sight reading, expressive performance, and advanced musical expression.
I teach through demonstrations, guided practice, and enjoyable learning activities. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore musical ideas, and build effective practice habits. Regular feedback helps students stay motivated and achieve steady progress.
Students also explore classical, pop, movie, gospel, and contemporary music while developing creativity through improvisation and accompaniment. These experiences help students become versatile and confident musicians.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects strengthen complete musical understanding.
My objective is to help every student become a confident pianist who enjoys learning, performing, and sharing the joy of music with others.
