About Raymond
I’m a student at one of the nation’s top U.S. high schools who earned a perfect score (800) on the SAT Math section. I know how stressful preparing for this test can feel (especially when having to juggle school and extracurriculars), because I’ve been through this journey myself, and my goal is to make the process less overwhelming and more approachable. I don't want you to make the same mistakes I did, so I’ll share the advice and strategies that would have made my own SAT journey much easier. Once you reach your goals, trust me—it is so worth it. I have tutored before, and every session has taught me something about the world and myself. I am proud to say that I have delivered strong results, with one of my recent students giving feedback, stating that she had "improved by 100 points from previous tests", an absolutely stunning improvement. In my spare time, I love skiing and going climbing with my friends. I absolutely adore cooking for others and this is a skill I learned from my parents who are both chefs!

I use clear, step-by-step methods to simplify SAT Math and focus on problem-solving strategies that build both skill and confidence. A typical session includes a short warm-up, targeted review of key SAT topics with real questions, and timed practice to strengthen test-taking.
Furthermore, understanding how to use the built in calculator (Desmos) is absolutely necessary. I’ll teach you how to get the most out of Desmos, from graphing functions to checking regressions. Learning these shortcuts can save time, reduce mistakes, and give you a massive edge on test day.
I place critical emphasis on the notoriously difficult “Last Four Questions” of the SAT Math section. By breaking them down into manageable steps and helping students develop advanced strategies, I help turn these high-value problems into an opportunity to stand out and push their scores even higher.
