About Gowthama Priya B

I am Gowthama Priya Balaji, a performing artist and dance instructor based in Chennai. I have 20 years experience in Bharatanatyam, and here we follow the traditional Kalakshetra bhani. My passion for dance has allowed me to explore various styles, and I love sharing this art form with my students through engaging classes and performances.
I believe in equality in my class, so no one is superior or inferior. In front of Lord Nataraja, we are all equal. Students will not only learn the dance; they will also learn the culture, lifestyle, discipline, and self-care. Through this holistic approach, I aim to instill a deep appreciation for the art and its roots in each student. By fostering a supportive environment, I encourage them to express themselves freely while respecting the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam.
