About Ryan
I am a compassionate and kind instructor. I am also very practical. I teach basic theory, but we won't waste time on topics you will rarely use while performing, rehearsing or recording. I specialize in beginners and younger players. Our lessons will be fun and engaging. I'm also a comedy and theatrical improviser so I can help overcome performance fears. I can help you move towards your rock star dreams.

37 years ago when we were freshmen at UT. I got to know Ryan through church, and we both had our love for music. I will never forget being amazed at Ryan’s guitar playing, one night he was playing starry starry night by Don McLean and we sat under the Austin night skies filled with stars. Sublime and etched in my heart.
