About Heather

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and was a facilitator in a large personal transformation seminar. I ran weekly support groups for participants during my time as a facilitator. I also worked for a Counseling center and taught courses in communication skills and active listening. I worked as a peer educator for nutrition and drug and alcohol awareness while I was a student at UCSB. I now work as a life coach and facilitate personal growth workshops for women.

About the lesson

I like experiential learning with active participation. I think we learn best by doing. I like to get students involved and inspired. I also like students to think about their goals and what motivates them and the reasons they are interested in the subject.
