About Megan
Hello! Thank you for considering me to be your tutor. I have worked with children ages 3-17 and have taught in public schools for the last 5 years. I am licensed to teach grades pk-12. My work has primarily been with younger children, but I also enjoy helping teens. I was also a tutor for adults at the college level and found that to be extremely enjoyable. Writing, and being able to do it well is very important to being taken seriously in professional environments. A good foundation is everything and I'm here to help build that with my students.

Class is in session!
My lessons include a variety of methodology including audio and video methods. We will have short lesson portion where we go over the subject matter, followed by several attempts that we will tackle together using what we've learned. Then it's your turn, using what we've discussed together I let you work an assignment on your own. We then review the assignment together to ensure understanding.
Students have found that my teaching methods provide them with a greater sense of understanding and confidence. I believe in meeting my students where they're at and helping with specific projects or problems struggling in as it relates writing.
