About Irini

Since a very young age, I have been passionate about setting goals and making the perfect plan in order to achieve them! I have many interests and like to constantly learn new things. I am currently a full-time PhD researcher, learning 2 new languages (I speak 7 in total), play the piano, have sport-related hobbies (badminton and dancing), travel a lot, and spend time on creative activities (e.g. cloth and jewelry making), and still have time to have a social life and relax. I achieve this through careful everyday planning and self-motivation. Helping others to achieve their goals fulfills me and is something that I have been doing for many years. In 2020, I decided to become a certified life coach and have since been working with clients from all over the world. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you improve your day-to-day life!

I am an academic researcher that offers life coaching to people that need help organizing their life and accomplishing their goals. The coaching plan will be adjusted depending on your needs!

I have a certificate in life coaching and have followed several seminars in time management, planning, goal setting, procrastination, etc. I am specializing in goal attainment, career, fitness, and financial coaching. I am also experienced in relationship and mental health coaching. I work on structured 45-minute sessions and you can expect to walk away with a clear sense of what you do well, how you can improve and what your next goals should be.

I would be happy to hear more about your life and current challenges! During the first session, we will get to know each other and identify life aspects that we could work on together!

  • How long have you been interested in the field of well-being and are you practicing?

    I have been interested in the field of well-being for over 10 years and I have been practicing as a life coach for the past 2.5 years. My passion for time management, goal setting, career and personal development led me to obtain my life coach certification and pursue a career in this field. Becoming a life coach was a natural progression for me, as I have always been passionate about helping people grow and achieve their full potential. My background in academics as well as in business consultancy has provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience that I can draw upon when working with clients.

    My discipline as a life coach specializing in time management, goal setting, career development, academic development, and habit building can bring significant positive changes to people's lives.     Take Action: Don't just talk about making changes in your life, take action. Make a plan and start taking steps to improve and reach your goals.

    Stay Positive: Surround yourself with positive people and stay away from negative environments. Focus on the positive and be aware of the negatives.

    My method as a practitioner focuses on understanding each client's unique circumstances and needs. I create customized coaching plans that address their specific goals, incorporating various techniques and strategies to help them make lasting changes and achieve success.

    At first, I follow a solution-focused approach by prioritizing finding solutions to problems and challenges. I will ask questions to gain insight into the client's current situation and to help them identify and articulate their goals. After that, I will work together with the client to develop strategies and plans to reach their goals. If needed, I will provide resources to help the client achieve their goals.
  • With experience, are there things you have learned or unlearned about yourself or others?

    With experience as a life coach, I have gained valuable insights and learned important lessons about myself and others. One of the key things I have learned is the significance of adaptability. Each client I work with is unique, with their own set of challenges, goals, and circumstances. As a life coach, it is crucial for me to be adaptable and flexible in my approach, tailoring my strategies and techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual. This requires me to constantly assess and adjust my methods to ensure the most effective and personalized support for my clients.

    Another important lesson I have learned is the power of empathy. By putting myself in their shoes and genuinely listening to their concerns, I am able to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where they can freely express themselves. This empathetic approach not only helps me better understand their needs and aspirations but also allows me to provide guidance and support that is rooted in compassion and understanding.
  • Do you have a role model, a person who really inspired you?

    My grandmother is an amazing role model. She is a strong woman who has always been a positive influence in my life. She has taught me to never give up, to carefully assess the situations and not to be afraid of taking risks. She has also taught me the importance of being kind to everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. She has always been there for me and has never judged me for my mistakes. She is truly an inspiration and an amazing role model.
  • How do you personally relax; what methods work for you?

    If I imagine the perfect day for relaxation, I would start the morning off with a long walk outside in the fresh air. The combination of physical activity and the calming atmosphere of nature help me to reduce stress and levels and brighten my mood. When I would return home, I would brew a cup of tea and settle in for some journaling. I would write down things to do, plans but also any worries or concerns. I would then think about ways to deal with them. After writing in my journal, I would go on with my daily tasks. I would end the day with a hot bath with essential oils, aromatherapy candles, and relaxing music. Making the time to connect with nature, plan, work on your mental well-being and just be in the moment is the perfect way to unwind and relax!
  • Tell us about a memorable lesson

    One of the most memorable lessons I have learned as a life coach is the power of self-belief. I had a client who came to me feeling stuck and lacking confidence in their abilities. Through our sessions, I encouraged them to believe in themselves and their potential. Witnessing their transformation was truly remarkable. They started taking bold steps toward their goals, overcoming obstacles, and achieving success. This experience reinforced the importance of instilling self-belief in my clients and reminded me of the profound impact it can have on their lives. It taught me that when individuals truly believe in themselves, they can accomplish incredible things.
