About Alina

Hi there, I’m Teacher Alina!
I teach English in Kuala Lumpur and love helping students grow in confidence and ability. I combine American and British English in my teaching, so you’ll be equipped with skills that are clear, natural, and understood worldwide.

I focus on building strong grammar, vocabulary, and understanding skills, because these are the keys to speaking, reading, and writing with confidence. Once you master them, communicating and interacting with others becomes natural and enjoyable.

I think learning English works best when it’s tied to culture—stories, customs and everyday media—so it feels natural and fun. With regular exposure to useful words, TV shows, news and hands-on activities, I’ll help you improve little by little.

If you’re aiming for success in IELTS, MUET, or SPM, I offer structured lessons that strengthen all four key skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking. My approach blends exam strategies, grammar precision, and vocabulary development with plenty of simulated test activities and targeted practice based on exam requirements. Whether your goal is to secure a higher band score, meet university entry requirements, or build lasting confidence, I’ll guide you step by step towards your best performance on exam day.

About the lesson

How lessons work:

-Fun, step-by-step learning using games, songs, movies, books, ads, and even real-life expeditions.
-Options for both online and physical classes (venue can be discussed for in-person lessons).
-With just 10 hours of learning, you’ll already be one step closer to achieving your English goals!
-All materials will be provided, and students are also encouraged to contribute.

-MUET & IELTS – Exam preparation for higher scores and academic success
-Business English – Professional communication, presentations, and workplace writing
-Cambridge Assessment International Education – English support for international curricula
-Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) – Focused guidance for exam readiness

Online classroom tools include:
-Zoom Video Communication
-PowerPoint
-Padlet (virtual post board for interactive learning)
-Teacher’s personal worksheets
-Online browsing, songs, movies, mute clips, and online games

Physical classroom materials include:
-Printouts, textbooks, activity books
-Mini whiteboard
-Songs, movies, mute clips, and board games

Class Fees:
-Online Class: RM35 per hour
-Physical Class: RM60 per hour

-Extra support: Sessions may sometimes extend by 7–10 minutes at no extra cost, because I believe teaching requires patience and understanding for every learner.
