About Emilio

Emilio José Moscoso Silva holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Classical Guitar Performance from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Chile. He has four years of experience as a music teacher in schools, instructing children from first grade through twelfth grade. He began his formal studies in 2014 under the guidance of Professor Ernesto Quezada. Throughout his training, he has developed a strong focus on chamber music and guitar ensembles. From 2015 to 2019, he was a member of the Chilean Guitar Orchestra, with which he performed in various theaters, concert halls, and cultural venues across the country. He is also a founding member of the Cuarteto Movimientos (2016), a group with which he has performed numerous concerts and tours in Chile, developing a repertoire focused on guitar ensembles and promoting this format.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on practical, inclusive instruction adapted to different levels, promoting both technical development and a shared musical experience. The class structure is tailored to each student's goals: from classical or electric guitar training to practical learning for playing songs and enjoying music in a more recreational setting. Classes focus on developing proper playing technique, preventing injuries, and ensuring steady, solid progress on the instrument.

Deadly! Un muy buen profesor. Al principio tenía mis recelos con aprender a tocar guitarra de manera online, pensé que no sería lo mismo que en presencial, pero estaba muy equivocada. Me gustó el método de enseñanza, ya que se aprende bien rápido. Además de que las clases se hacen bastantes llevaderas por la disposición y simpatía del profe, y eso se agradece mucho. Sin duda lo recomiendo (:
