About Ledda
Hi! I’m Ledda, a native Spanish speaker with experience teaching Spanish to young children ages 4–7 at Nueva York Kiddos in Brooklyn.
My background is also in journalism, healthcare, and bilingual communication. I have worked directly with Spanish- and English-speaking patients and completed professional training as an English–Spanish medical interpreter.
These experiences have taught me how to explain ideas clearly, listen carefully, adapt to different communication styles, and make people feel comfortable asking questions and practicing.
I enjoy working with both children and adults, and I bring a patient, friendly, and practical approach to every lesson. My goal is to help students feel more confident using Spanish in real conversations and everyday situations.
Lessons are offered online only.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s age, level, and goals, with a strong focus on practical communication and building confidence.
For children, I use simple vocabulary, repetition, visuals, conversation, and engaging activities to keep lessons fun and easy to follow.
For adults, we can focus on conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, travel, work, or everyday Spanish depending on your needs.
I like to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes. Lessons are interactive, practical, and designed to help you use Spanish naturally in real-life situations.
All lessons are online.
Lessons are available online and in New York City. During the first lesson, we’ll discuss your current level, goals, preferred learning style, and create a personalized plan for your progress.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can speak, make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually build the confidence to communicate naturally in Spanish.
