About Aisha
Hey there!
Thanks for coming to visit my profile.
Teaching and tutoring is very dear to me. I started my career in education, straight after graduating with a BA Hons. degree in English Literature from Brunel University.
I gained my Post-graduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education in London, UK and have since taught as an English Language, Literature and Media Studies teacher for 8 years.
Having worked in secondary schools across London and Dubai, I have had the privilege of understanding and delving into both the public and private spheres of education.
I'd love to see how I can help as your tutor and look forward to meeting each and every one of you!

I love to conduct my lessons using engaging and innovative approaches. First, I'll understand your preferred learning style and then get into what works for you as a result!
Lessons will typically last 1 hour and will generally be a mix up of both teacher-led and student-led activities. I really believe in modelling for my students so that they feel confident in producing work of a high-level as they move forward.
I also ensure to try and relate the study of particular texts and skills to my students' own lives. This always helps to create genuine interest and make learning stick.
My experience expands from lower secondary school (year 7-9), all way through to GCSE and A level students.
