About Adam

With almost a decade of experience in a multitude of different academic mentorship roles, I have seen that a passion and willingness to learn will always be superior to inherent intelligence. Despite how frustrating it can be to struggle learning a scientific topic, I promise to approach your learning from every angle possible until we find what works best for you.

About the lesson

I generally like to start with a comprehensive review of all the necessary topics you will need to know for a given class/section. These allow me to identify your strengths and weaknesses in a given subject matter and generate highly-focused lessons for subsequent tutoring sessions. I also ask a lot of questions aimed at guiding your thinking in a different direction to come to the correct answer on your own, rather than flat out telling you the solution.
