About Julie
I have a doctorate degree in biochemistry and I love spreading enthusiasm for the subject!
I offer tutoring for pupils, students and teachers. I have taught several biology-, chemistry- and biochemistry subjects at the University of Oslo, for example: biochemistry 1 (main lecturer), biological chemistry for teachers, introduction to chemistry, bioinformatics and protein crystallography.
I'm also used to speaking and teaching in English since I've lived three years in the UK, and I'm married to an American.
I have won a prize in popular science dissemination, and I do this as a voluntary part time job :)

I focus on explaining things in a simple way, and I like to use examples and drawings. Understanding of the basics is the most important aspect, after this is achieved we can start building more advanced knowledge. I have experience with both weak and strong students, and patience is my super power.
