About Meiling
I am a fully certified Chinese teacher holding a Senior High School Chinese Teaching Qualification Certificate. I hold both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Chinese Language Education with outstanding academic performance. My research focuses on linguistics and second language acquisition, equipping me with solid theoretical knowledge for teaching.
I have extensive and varied teaching experience across different learner levels: From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a full-time high school Chinese teacher and received awards in municipal and provincial teaching competitions. In 2024, I taught Chinese courses for international students, including HSK 2 for beginner learners and HSK 3 for students from Morocco. Since September 2024, I have been working at the Confucius Institute in Spain, teaching HSK 3 to HSK 5 courses. I also take responsibility for cultural event planning and teaching material development.
Drawing on professional second language teaching theories, I adopt diverse teaching approaches such as situational dialogues, group activities, reading practice, and cultural sharing to keep classes engaging. Combining my academic research background, I identify learners’ difficulties and create personalized study plans. I also integrate traditional Chinese culture into lessons to enrich your learning experience and deepen your understanding.
I speak advanced English and basic Spanish, so I can communicate smoothly with international students. Patient and dedicated, I will support you to steadily improve your Chinese and reach your learning goals.
