About Swati
Hello! I'm Swati, a passionate Computer Science educator with a PhD and over 10 years of university teaching experience. I genuinely enjoy helping students discover that programming is something they can understand and succeed in with the right guidance.
I currently teach Australian students online and have experience working with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit their pace and learning style. Whether you're struggling with the basics or aiming for top grades, I'll patiently guide you step by step until you feel confident.
My students know me as a friendly, patient, approachable, and supportive tutor. I encourage questions, explain concepts in simple language, and create a comfortable learning environment where mistakes are part of the learning process. Learning to code doesn't have to be difficult—it becomes much easier when concepts are explained step by step with real examples. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and enjoy learning, regardless of their starting level.
I hold a PhD in Computer Science and have 10+ years of teaching experience at university level. I am also an active online tutor in Australia, teaching students in Python programming and Digital Technologies. Along with my academic background, I have completed professional training in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and Large Language Models (LLMs), enabling me to teach the latest technologies that are highly relevant in today's industry.
I teach students of all levels, including:
Primary and secondary school students (coding and Digital Technologies)
VCE students
University students
Beginners, professionals, and career changers who want to learn programming or AI
Subjects I teach include Python, Java, C/C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Computer Science.
My lessons are highly interactive and tailored to each student's learning style. Every concept is explained using practical examples, followed by guided coding exercises and independent practice to ensure long-term understanding. I also provide support with assignments, projects, exam preparation, and interview preparation.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for assignments or project work. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to develop the confidence and practical skills needed to succeed in their studies and future careers.
