About Amel
I am a passionate and dedicated PhD-qualified Computer Scientist with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in education. I enjoy helping students develop confidence, understand challenging concepts and discover how Computer Science can be both practical and enjoyable.
I am patient, approachable and committed to adapting my teaching style to each student's individual needs. I believe that every student can make significant progress with the right guidance, clear explanations and consistent practice.
My aim is not simply to help students memorise information, but to develop their understanding, problem-solving ability and confidence so they can approach their GCSE Computer Science studies and examinations independently.

I am a PhD-qualified Computer Scientist offering personalised GCSE Computer Science lessons for students of different abilities and learning needs. My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts simple, clear and engaging through practical examples, step-by-step explanations and programming exercises. I adapt each lesson to the student's level and goals, whether they need to build confidence, improve their grades, prepare for exams or aim for Grade 8–9.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with the option to focus on specific topics, programming skills, past papers, revision or exam technique. I can teach key GCSE Computer Science topics including Python programming, algorithms, computational thinking, computer systems, networks, cybersecurity and data representation.
My PhD-level academic background allows me to provide a strong understanding of Computer Science while explaining concepts at an appropriate level for GCSE students. I welcome beginners as well as students who want to challenge themselves and achieve the highest possible grades.
