About Youssef

I have been passionated about new technologies since my youth. Thanks to an old book by Luc Van Lancker, I was able to create my first website at the age of 13 and even sell my first one at the age of 15 when Youtube was taking its first steps. Afterwards, I followed my passion until obtaining my first diploma in digital development, then a license in systems and software administration to discover, by then, the world of Geomatics and obtain another license on that theme, then a master's degree in GIS and land management to finish with a PhD degree in Geosciences and Remote Sensing.
I had the opportunity to work and participate in several events and projects with prestigious entities such as ESA, NASA, FAO, UAF, ISDE... etc.
Now, I work for an international company in the field of NEW SPACE as an expert in remote sensing to develop and implement solutions meeting the different SDGs of the France 2030 vision.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is simple:
1. I listen to you, well, deeply and attentively.
2. We discuss to help you clearly identify your needs.
3. I offer you a course adapted to you, your schedule and of course your needs.
4. We move forward step by step while remaining flexible and attentive.
5. We finish in style with a small mastery evaluation project, optional but adapted to you.

Among the different areas of training there are:
- Mastery of GIS and TS software: QGIS, ARCGIS, SNAP and ERDAS.
- Cartography and topology.
- Data analysis and cleaning
- Administration of spatial databases.
- The creation of personalized plugins on ARCGIS and QGIS.
- Development of Python applications.
- Processing of satellite images.

Deadly! I felt in very good hands with Youssef. He has an incredibly in depth knowledge of GIS, explains things very well and even when I could not understand something he has been very patient and made sure I do not leave the lesson feeling unclear.
