About Megan
Hi! I am a lover of all things literacy! From tiny kiddos to grownups, I love helping people love to read and write. I am a professor of education, teaching teachers how to teach reading and writing!My doctoral degree is in language and literacy from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. I have three children of my own, all who love to read and write too! I hope I can be of assistance to you!

As a professor, I come to the reading and writing process from a broad perspective. Both reading and writing involve much more than sounding out. Using what we know about how language works and what is available, we can become lovers of literacy. It takes a skilled interventionists with practices based in good theory to help readers and writers take flight.
