About George
I am a PhD neuroscientist with extensive experience in biology, molecular biology, and research, currently working at the University of Minnesota and previously serving as faculty at Columbia University. I have taught and mentored students at all levels, from beginners to graduate trainees, and have authored numerous scientific publications.
I am currently focused exclusively on research, but I continue to teach because it is something I genuinely enjoy. I dedicate part of my (ever-shrinking) spare time to helping students learn, because I find it rewarding to make complex topics clear and accessible.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and adapted to each student. My goal is not just to explain material, but to help you think critically and build real confidence in your understanding. Whether you need help with coursework, exam preparation, or understanding difficult concepts, I will guide you step by step and make learning more approachable and effective.
