About Alisa
I have a PhD in Political Science, with degrees in History and Gender Studies. I have taught university courses in Political Science, Government, and Civics in person and on-line for over 10 years and in a variety of institutions. I have successfully worked with a number of students interested in getting into law school or graduate school - one of the favorite teaching moments I've had over the years.

I have always found history, government, and public policy to be so fascinating - I aim to bring the stories and narratives of these subjects to life, making each lesson a memorable, engaging, and interactive experience. I have taught university-level courses for the past 10 years, and have experience teaching both in person and on-line. The planning, structure, approach will vary between in person and on-line delivery, yet students or those seeking tutoring can expect the same level of knowledge, engagement, and outcomes in either.
