About Mirta
I am a PhD in Philosophy. I have taught history of philosophy, ethics, politology, history of Latin America, history of Cuba, Cuban literature, and Latin American literature. I am a professor in Biology and taught it for 5 years. I have taught at the University in Cuba, as well as in universities in Colombia, Bolivia, Mexico, and Venezuela. I have been a tutor for PhD and Master's students in these countries. I can tutor in Spanish for students in the areas of Philosophy, sociology, politology, art, Latin American literature, and history.

My teaching method begins with a diagnostic about the knowledge of students, to attend to the individual differences. I provide a panoramic view of a subject and then listen to different opinions, after which I recommend specific literature and different activities like homework. I consider the independent study of the students very important to facilitate a dialogic respect for different opinions in class.
