About Young
I am a professor of English and creative writing at a state university in America. I hold a BA in English from the University of Georgia, an MFA in literature and creative writing from the University of Arkansas, and a PhD in literature and creative writing from the University of Houston. I am the founding director of the low-residency MFA program in creative writing at Eastern Kentucky University (the Bluegrass Writers Studio). I am also a widely published and award-winning poet, as well as a playwright with several professional productions.
