About Henry
I received my B.A. in History from Haverford College followed by a Ph.D. in Modern U.S. History at the University of Texas. I've taught two semesters of college level U.S. History--and have been an avid reader/nerd of history throughout my life!

Understanding the ins and out of American history is not just about memorizing dates and names, but about seeing how change occurs over time. I specialize in helping people feel comfortable--and exited--about the dynamics of history. This process will include examining fascinating historical documents, writing exercises and collaborative discussions.
Students working with me will receive an individualized lesson plan tailored to their particular learning needs. Having taught two undergraduate classes, I will gladly work with any experience level, from middle-school through college-level students. I am also a published author eager to help individuals write with purpose and clarity.
