About Claire
I am a first year PhD student in English literature at Queen's University, based between Dublin and Belfast. Before my PhD, I studied English in Trinity College Dublin and have a Master's Degree in Modern Literature from Edinburgh University.
Currently working part time as a teaching assistant at Queen's University, with 3 years experience working as a tutor in both English and Math for Junior and Leaving Cert students, and really enjoy seeing students develop their own understanding of the subject.
Working as a tutor has also helped me to stay up to date on changes to the curriculum.

- One hour lessons which provide both an overview of the whole Junior/Leaving Cert curriculum, as well as focusing on areas the student may find more challenging.
- Lessons will seek to complement the work that is being done in school.
- Provide my own materials and notes on texts that are useful for independent study.
-Can offer essay corrections and mark mock exam questions.
