I am currently a PhD student in Anglophone Studies (specializing in American literature and film) with a highly international background. My experience in English teaching includes lessons to younger groups (from 6 to 16) of beginner / intermediate level at private schools and one-on-one TOEFL tutoring.

With younger kids, my methods lean more towards an interactive and liberating direction, focusing on establishing an interest in the language throughout the English-speaking culture. However, I do value systematic and structured lessons on grammars. With students and young adults who are preparing for TOEFL, my tutoring provides more information on the subject. (With TOEFL, some material can be provided for the student, for instance, TPO)
