About Giovanna

PhD student in linguistic sciences, with a degree in ancient literature and linguistics, I have had teaching experiences at various levels and for different subjects.

During my studies I have always carried out the teaching activity with individuals and small groups, both privately and as a tutor in the university environment.

As for the school, I have experience both in individual school support (private lessons), and as a teacher in lower secondary school.

At university, I have been tutor for courses of linguistics several times.

About the lesson

As for the contents, I offer lessons in any humanities subject (including Latin and Greek) for school (middle and high school) and university students.
I offer support both in the preparation of university exams and for oral tests and class assignments. I am also available for other needs, for example in helping with written papers: themes, school essays, translations and university theses / term papers.

The first meeting with the student will be an interview to understand his needs and what is problematic for him/her.
The main objective of the lessons will be to clarify the student's doubts and to provide him with the most suitable methodological and organizational bases, so that he can continue independently in his studies.
Furthermore, the lessons will be structured differently depending on the type of exam / task / test to be faced and on the basis of the specific contents.
