About Josh
Early on, I discovered that my main passion was for history, literature, and classical languages. For my undergraduate degree I studied at the University of St Andrews which is one of the world's best schools for Classics. Immediately after, I began my PhD at NYU and have been there for four years. Besides my research, I have taught a variety of courses and also have subbed at middle schools around the city of New York. I therefore am adaptable and able to meet the personal needs of any student.

My lessons are geared for middle schoolers to undergraduates. As a fourth year PhD student in Classics, I have years of experience with studying languages, history, literature, and philosophy. I have completed many writing projects at the academic level and would have plenty to share for anyone trying to improve their written communication skills or their performance on written coursework such as essays and research papers. My verbal skills would also be useful to high school students preparing for the writing and reading portions of the ACT or SAT.
