About Ritu

With a decade of experience teaching ESL, I specialise in helping high school and college students achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success. My teaching philosophy is centred on personalised instruction, tailoring each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style.

I integrate grammar and vocabulary lessons with reading, writing, speaking, and listening practice, supported by interactive exercises and real-life examples. I focus on building confidence, encouraging active participation, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Over the years, I have guided numerous students to improve language skills, academic performance, and communication confidence.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching philosophy is rooted in the C³P approach: Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through interactive projects, storytelling, and role-playing activities that inspire students to explore language confidently and imaginatively.

Communication is emphasised in every lesson through discussions, group exercises, and presentations, helping students develop fluency, active listening, and confidence in expressing ideas. Compassion drives my approach, ensuring lessons are tailored to individual learning styles and needs, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.

Problem-solving is incorporated through scenario-based exercises, real-life tasks, and critical thinking challenges that allow students to use English practically while building analytical skills. In addition to ESL, I teach relevant subjects like reading comprehension, writing skills, and academic communication to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
