About Emma
I grew up in Paris, with a French Father and an English Mother.
Early on, I was sent to an international school.
I loved the rich diversity, the mix of cultures and new perspective another language offers.
I am now a Postgraduate Student at Trinity College Dublin, studying Environmental History.
However, I remember language lessons in school and finding them tedious, which I always thought was a shame.
By using a creative approach focused on the interests of the students, I believe learning French can be fun !

I believe that to learn a language, one must learn to lean into the language first.
Learning a new language can be tedious.
My method strives to encourage dialogue and understanding through reading, writing and speaking about things we are passionate about.
I usually take time to first get to know you, and then we can start conversing together in French about the things you find interesting!
I have tutored as an English tutor in France.
