About Andre
I am an academic philosopher by trade and have extensive experience teaching and tutoring students from eight year old children all the way to undergraduates preparing for their finals exams. With nearly a decade's worth of experience working and studying in the world of academia, I have intimate knowledge not just of topic content but of the most successful ways in which to present your work as well.

In experience, I have found that more often than not, learners DO want to learn, whether they're at school, undergraduate or even graduate level. At the same time, so many of us come away from our educations having gained little besides a fancy piece of paper.
My goal as tutor is is to engage students in ways that not only assist them with the challenges of the particular piece of work, but to unleash in them the motivation to passionately begin learning by themselves and to equip them with the skills needed to do so.
My work with my students is collaborative in that we work together to overcome the particular challenges in front of us. Most of the time, the answers are not as far away as many struggling students think.
My hope is not only that the student leaves with the confidence and ability to complete the particular task, but with the skills and passion to continue their studies in the most successful possible way.
