About Ally
Hi there! My name is Ally. I am an enthusiastic and friendly university student who is motivated to help other students achieve their full potential in the subject of English. I believe, once given the appropriate tools and techniques, every student can offer insightful and articulate ideas in a given unit or class. You can expect simple yet powerful guidance on how to master the art of essay-writing, literacy, oral expression and more. This is the guidance I used to achieve consistent high marks in International Baccalaureate (A-level equivalent) English and standardised university admissions tests. The skills I look forward to teaching you granted me acceptance into the UK's leading English Literature university course and I can assure it will prove beneficial to you too!

The methodology of my lessons will be based entirely around your subject-specific needs, identifying areas of improvement and providing suggestions of new and comprehensive techniques that are directly targeted to them. These techniques will be drawn from my experience in Higher Level IB English Literature, using exemplar pieces of work such as commentaries, dissertations and oral presentations - all of which received top marks. I offer lessons to all ages and levels and the duration is entirely up to you and your needs!
