About Lucas Moreira
the idea is to speculate about the past, the present and the future from an afrocentric and diasporic approach, where we can express ourselves free from the bonds of colonialism, developing our own projects in dialogue with our intersecting stories, always thinking about the place we occupy in our community and in our networks of affection. ... all this thinking afrofurismo as a narrative that can be created by us and implemented in our reality and in our possibilities of existence, always with the values that we bring with us on the agenda, in line with the search for our ancestry and the past of our people that had been wiped out by the colonial movement. ... we will certainly find comics, films, fashion concepts, fine arts and literature on this journey. we will continue to sing Erykah Badu at his most powerful cosmic rhythm and revisit the arts of Jean-Michel Basquiat, yes we could go back to 1983 and chill with him, in addition to meeting the strong and respected T'challa in Wakanda ~ learning about the references of black panthers in 1966 // we have a time machine and we can engine the future!}
