About Grace
I am studying undergraduate Philosphy in Reading and living in Guildford. I have been volunteering at Redlands primary school since Christmas. This has involved assisting children and reading and writing excersices. I have an A* in GCSE R.E and an A* in philosphy and ethics A-level. This subject is a source of real enjoyment for me and I would be really excited to support another student's learning. I am a warm bubbly person, who gets true fulfillment out of teaching.

Philosophical or religious concepts can sometimes be difficult to grasp so I've found the best way to really gain an understanding of a topic is to talk it through. I have students try and explain the topic to me, as if in a conversation. Many of the marks to be gained in an exam are for evaluation, so conversation is also a great way to develop critical thinking skills. Tutoring will also involve essay writing techniques, depending on the students needs.
