About Theresa
Hi, I’m Tessa! I know how overwhelming VCE can be — the constant pressure, last-minute SACs, and the feeling that your entire future is riding on a single exam. I’m here to make the process easier, calmer, and actually effective. I graduated with a 99.3 ATAR — without relying on any high-scaling subjects — and earned a spot on the VCE Honor Roll in 5 subjects, including Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, Studio Arts, and Art. I went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Literature at Deakin University, graduating 1.5 years early with a GPA of 3.96, while studying independently and taking overload units each trimester. I’ve been a Senior Tutor with several tutoring organizations and have helped students of all abilities gain confidence and boost their marks. Whether you’re aiming for a 40+ study score or just want to stop feeling lost in class, I’ve got you.

My approach is highly personalized — each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style, needs, and goals. I frequently use past VCAA exams and examiner’s reports to help students break down complex prompts, identify what distinguishes top-tier responses, and develop effective SAC and exam strategies. Together, we unpack what assessors are looking for by focusing on keywords, task breakdowns, and marking criteria, enabling students to write with clarity, precision, and confidence under timed conditions. Sessions typically run for 60–90 minutes and may include targeted content support, essay planning and development, or in-depth conceptual discussions. I work best with VCE and high school students seeking thoughtful, creative, and structured guidance in Literature, Philosophy, and Arts-based subjects.
