About Kai
I have a decade of experience playing and performing piano. I have had multiple Arts Council funded projects where I composed music for local community groups, podcasts and audio art installations. As well as writing a piece of music with Annie Whitehead from the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I am very passionate about playing, performing and composing for piano and want to share my love of this subject with people. Whether you want to have fun lessons learning your favourite songs, want to achieve your ABRSM grades or just to re-learn the piano after a break, each lesson will be designed for your specific goals. Each lesson will focus on a variety of areas needed to be proficient at the piano, like sight reading, scales and arpeggios, music theory, correct form and useful learning methods. Giving you the foundations that we will build on, allowing you to reach your goals. Each lesson is designed to be fun and welcoming no matter your experience, while still challenging enough for you to keep improving each week.
